I was raised in Burley, Idaho on our family farm where I learned to grow plants, raise animals, and drive tractors. I was active in the 4-H program and received my American Farmer Degree from the FFA. After graduating from Burley High School, I lived in Southern California for two years while serving a church mission. I thoroughly enjoyed the California climate and the vast varieties of plants that grow there.  Upon returning to Burley, I began working for a local retail nursery were my knowledge for plants and properly maintaining them increased.  To further my education I then attended Brigham Young University – Idaho’s Horticulture program. While attending college I was able to develop and maintain a tomato hydroponics system that produced up to 450 lbs. of vine ripened tomatoes per week. In 2009 I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture. After college I worked as an independent landscaper maintaining properties in Idaho Falls and Rexburg. I then began working for Teton Trees in 2013 as the Shipping Manager. I work to make each day a great one for myself and those who I work with. I welcome the challenge that comes with making sure plant material is pulled, counted, loaded and shipped correctly. I have three main hobbies: Family, Food and Fun. I love my beautiful wife and three handsome boys, and I enjoy eating good food with them and spending time doing fun things with them, especially camping at Red Fish Lake and Island Park. One great perk from working at Teton Trees is having the opportunity to see all our plants during each of the four seasons.
